Apple’s Genmoji coming in time for the holidays

The pinnacle of AI computing should be coming to Apple’s iPhone just in time for Christmas! No, not a virtual assistant that actually works, but, rather, Genmoji, custom emojis you can create with text prompts, like a donut with a hat, for example. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that the highly anticipated feature could arrive with the iOS 18.2 operating-system update as early as December 2. We’ll have to wait for iOS 18.4 for improvements to Siri that will “let the digital assistant tap into people’s data and respond to queries based on the information on their screens.”
