Amazon’s Alexa gen-AI “brain” transplant still has a lot to learn
Amazon is aiming to relaunch its long-struggling assistant Alexa as an AI agent that can complete useful tasks for users. It’s still got a bunch of hurdles to overcome in order to “enable even more proactive and capable assistance” from the device, the Financial Times reports. Those include fixing hallucinations, speeding up response times, and increasing its reliability — issues Fortune previously reported.
