TikTok had a music subscription service and it’s shutting down

Good-bye TikTok Music, we hardly new ye (existed). TikTok launched the music subscription service last year, hoping to channel its ability to make songs go viral into another revenue source. The Spotify and Apple Music competitor, which was only available in Indonesia, Brazil, Australia, Singapore, and Mexico, will shutter in November. Instead TikTok said it will focus on its “Add To Music App” feature, which lets uses save tracks they find on TikTok to other music streaming services. Meanwhile, in the US, TikTok’s main app is fighting for its life.
