Instagram disclosed its revenue for the first time ever

We finally know how much money Instagram makes thanks to documents disclosed by a court filing, which revealed that the social media site raked in $32.4 billion in advertising revenue in 2021, nearly 30% of Meta’s total. That’s 12% more than the net amount that Alphabet reported from YouTube in the same year... although it’s worth noting that YouTube splits a substantial portion of what it generates with its content creators.
