The US economy could lose out on nearly $90 billion this year as foreign tourism cools and boycotts of American goods gain steam. New data from the International Trade Administration shows that international air arrivals to the States have already dropped, falling nearly 10% in March compared to a year ago. It’s a stark reversal from the beginning of the year, when officials projected 77 million visitors to the US in 2025 — just shy of the 2019 peak — with hopes of hitting a new record in 2026.
