Football star Lionel Messi’s real-estate investment trust went public in Spain at €57.4 per share, giving it a market cap of €223.3 million ($231.8 million).
The company, Edificio Rostower Socimi, owns hotels, office spaces, and apartment buildings across Europe. It was founded in 2013 and lost €1.7 million in 2023 and €784 thousand in 2022, according to documents posted on Portfolio Stock Exchange, an alternative exchange where the company is listed.
It currently has one sole investor: Messi’s family trust.
