OpenAI assistant aims to help cancer plans
OpenAI is making more moves in the healthcare space — an industry considered by many to be prime for AI innovation. Color Health has developed a promising use case: an AI assistant that uses OpenAI’s GPT-4o model to create cancer screening and pretreatment plans for people with cancer, the Wall Street Journal reports. It does so by ingesting patient data as well as clinical guidelines. Rather than replace doctors, the copilot is meant to lessen “some administrative work that leads to burnout.”
