Move over, shiba inu. There’s a new dog in town.

Robinhood Markets said Monday that it has added dogwifhat to its platform. The solana-based meme coin was launched in late 2023, and has grown to a more than $3 billion market cap.

The coin’s price spiked after the announcement, but has since cooled.

The listing comes less than two weeks after Robinhood added four tokens — solana, pepe, cardano, and XRP — to its US platform. It follows shortly on the heels of President-elect Trump’s pro-crypto campaign and news of SEC Chair Gary Gensler’s planned resignation.

It suggests a possible shift in brokerages’ approach to the type of coins they’d considering offering to US customers. As recently as 2023, Robinhood delisted solana and cardano, telling customers there was a “cloud of uncertainty around these assets.”
