Big law firms have billed at least $750 million in cryptocurrency-related cases, according to one analysis from Bloomberg Law.
Sullivan & Cromwell has taken the biggest chunk, having billed $215 million as of June for handling the bankruptcy of FTX, the defunct exchange whose founder, Sam Bankman-Fried, was sentenced to 25 years in prison earlier this year.
Kirkland & Ellis takes second place, having billed a total of $120 million handling the bankruptcies of Celsius, BlockFi, and Voyager.
